| Information | I am the Operations Director of Shilton Sharpe Quarry, a multinational legal recruitment consultancy. We specialise in placing qualified lawyers at all levels into major law firms, banks and corporates. My role is to run the operations side of our business, covering everything from legal, HR and employment law, IT, marketing and advertising, internal recruitment and strategic project management. Prior to this role I was a legal recruitment consultant for three years (both at SSQ and elsewhere), and prior to that an intellectual property lawyer with the City law firm Herbert Smith, for whom I worked between 1997 and 2004. |

Think carefully about the skills you have developed through your study, and match those with your personality to identify where you think your strengths lie. Once in work, don't try to be someone you're not - you'll be unhappy. |
