| Information | I work as a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry. My skills have always been highly in demand, and there are currently many opportunities including working from home, overseas, within large Pharma companies, biotech or contract organisations. At the moment I'm supporting research into veterinary medicine. As well as academic proficiency (a higher degree is necessary) you need good attention to detail, be efficient, organized, and most importantly a good communicator. The ability to listen and interpret client requirements, and subsequently explain results in lay terms is what will give you the competitive edge. |
