| Things I Wish I'd Known | * People will say you are too young for half your career, and too old for the other half. Ignore them all! * Most of business life is selling. If you cannot sell - yourself, ideas, things, projects - you will just end up as a glorified administrator. However, few admit this, particularly in the Public Sector. * Any degree is useful and can be made relevant. * Nice people are not all trustworthy, and trustworthy people are not all nice. * Diligence is good, but results are better. |
