News: Mary Weston

It is with sadness that we announce the death in October of Mary Weston, a native of Manchester and a Graduate in French of Royal Holloway College.

She was married to Dr. Mike Weston, a member of the Chemistry Department and former Vice Master of Grey College. They lived as resident tutors in 2 Bucks Hill, Grey College, from the early 1960s and when Mike was Vice Master and Senior Tutor from 1980 to 1984 before Mike retired. Mike died a number of years ago. 

Mary kept up her Grey SCR membership and friendship with several members until her death. It is a fitting tribute to Mike and Mary's lasting contribution to the College that their baby grand piano has been donated to Grey by her executors.
